Showing Up in THAT Moment

I have discovered that there’s a moment….
It doesn’t always come with fanfare or fireworks. Sometimes, it’s subtle. Quiet. Unexpected. But it’s powerful. It’s that moment, the one that changes everything.
I’m learning to show up for it. Even though it often terrifies me!
In the chaos of life, we often think the pivotal moments are obvious, the job interview, the big race, the important conversation. And sometimes they are. But more often than not, they show up disguised as discomfort, fear, resistance… or even stillness.
It’s the second before you speak up for what you believe in.
The pause before you say yes to something that scares you.
The breath you take before you walk onto the stage, climb into the cockpit, or fly toward the unknown.
That’s the moment…….
It’s easy to overlook. Easier still to shrink away from. But I’ve come to realize that showing up in that moment, fully, bravely, and vulnerably is where everything shifts.
I’m learning to recognize the feeling, the way my heart beats a little faster, the butterflies kick in, the doubt whispers. And then I remind myself…… this is it. This is where I need to lean in.
Because on the other side of that moment is true growth.
On the other side is clarity.
On the other side is the life I want to live, not just dream about.
So I show up. Even when I’m scared. Even when I feel small. Especially then.
To anyone reading this, please don’t wait for perfect timing.
You will know it when it arrives, because it will feel uncomfortable, thrilling, and real all at once. Recognize it. Trust yourself. And step into the moment!
