Pole Position for the First Silver Heat!

Somehow, my L-29 “Miss Independance” will be starting from the Pole Position in the first jet heat, and I’m still pinching myself! Honestly, I’m not sure how I pulled that off!

The L-39s in this race are seriously fast, so I’ll be fighting hard to hold my line and make every lap count but starting up front gives me clean air and a chance to set myself in a good position.

No matter what happens, this is about more than speed, it’s about learning on every lap, honing my skills and continuous improvement. It is a privilege to be racing alongside such incredibly skilled pilots and honestly, lining up at the front in this calibre of company already feels like a win!

I will Fly Like a Girl and do my best to keep up with the boys to show women and girls everywhere that they can chase their dreams… even in a jet. 💫✈️
